What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no login, no comment box and no contact form. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal detail, and there is no mechanism on the site through which you could supply one.

You can verify this the same way you would check any site: open your browser’s developer tools, load a page, and look at the Network tab and stored cookies. As of the date above you will find no third-party requests and no cookies set by this site.

Server logs

The site is served through Cloudflare, which keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — as any web server does. These are operational records used to serve the site and to defend it against abuse. We do not combine them with anything else and we do not build profiles from them.

Analytics

No analytics script is active at the date above. If we enable one, it will be a privacy-preserving, cookieless product, and this section will be updated to name it before it is switched on.

Advertising

No advertising is running at the date above. If we introduce Google AdSense to cover hosting costs, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites.

When that happens, this section will name it explicitly, and visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will be shown a consent notice before any advertising cookie is set. You can review and adjust Google’s advertising settings at any time via Google Ads Settings, and opt out of personalised advertising from participating vendors at aboutads.info.

Links to other sites

Every tool entry links out to the vendor’s own site. Once you follow such a link you are on their property and their privacy policy applies, not ours. We have no control over and take no responsibility for what they collect.

These are ordinary links. We are not paid to place them and they are not affiliate links; if that ever changes it will be disclosed here and on the pages concerned.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, export or erase. If you believe we hold something about you nonetheless, write to us and we will look into it.

Children

This site is aimed at a general professional audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from them — which, given that we collect nothing from anyone, follows from the design rather than from a promise.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change — in particular if analytics or advertising is enabled — this page will be updated and the date at the top revised before the change takes effect.
